ABOUT US

Unbound was never created to sell clothes.
It was created because movement became a part of who we are.
Every day, millions move. Through crowded metros, packed taxis, long train rides, airport terminals, college corridors, city streets, and unfamiliar places waiting to become stories. We spend our lives in motion — rushing somewhere, returning from somewhere, or searching for something new.
But while life evolved, clothing never truly caught up.
We accepted sweat as normal. We accepted discomfort as a trade-off. We accepted that looking sharp often meant feeling restricted, and comfort usually came at the cost of style.
We were told to choose one.
We refused.
Unbound was built around a simple belief: movement should feel effortless.
Every fabric we select, every fit we refine, and every detail we finish exists for a purpose — to create clothing that moves with you, not against you. Pieces designed for long days, unexpected journeys, and lives that rarely stand still.
This isn’t traditional travel wear.
Travel isn’t only flights and destinations. Travel is life itself. It is every commute, every meeting, every late-night drive, every spontaneous plan, and every journey in between.
This is freedom clothing.
Built for movement. Designed for comfort. Made to look sharp.
Because you were never meant to choose between feeling good and looking good.
You were meant to have both.

MEET THE FOUNDERS

Long before Unbound existed, Rahul Somani spent years understanding fashion from where it truly lives — on the ground.
Through building and operating exclusive and shop-in-shop retail experiences across the city, he worked closely with some of fashion’s most recognized names, including Louis Philippe, Levi's, Jack & Jones, Tommy Hilfiger, and PUMA.
Years in retail taught him something beyond sales and numbers: people don’t simply buy clothing — they buy confidence, ease, identity, and the feeling that something was made for them.
And over the years, one pattern became impossible to ignore.
People constantly compromised. They chose style over comfort. Comfort over appearance. Looking sharp over feeling free.
The problem wasn’t the people.
It was the clothing.
Unbound was built from that realization — a belief that modern lives move differently, and clothing should move with them.
Because fashion was never meant to hold people back.

Co-Founder, UNBOUND

Before Unbound was built, Nimish Asawa spent years understanding clothing at its origin — where every fabric begins with a thread.
With deep experience in textile production and yarn manufacturing, his journey wasn’t built inside storefronts; it was built inside the world of creation itself. Across years of working with different yarns, constructions, and fabric compositions, he developed an understanding that goes beyond production — an understanding of feel, movement, texture, and the language fabrics speak before they ever become clothing.
Over time, he experienced hundreds of materials, finishes, and fabric characteristics from across the world. Not just by studying them, but by touching them, testing them, and understanding how they behave in real life.
And one thing became clear:
People experience clothing through feeling long before they understand it through design.
The softness of a fabric. The breathability on a long day. The comfort during movement. The way something sits on the body. The details people may never consciously notice, but always remember.
That belief became a foundation for Unbound.
Because great clothing doesn’t begin when it reaches your wardrobe.
It begins with the fabric itself.
